Americaneconomistshavetwoviewsonthe"NewDeal",onethatthe"NewDeal"inencouragingtheconfidenceofprivateenterpriseswithoutsuccess,thebasicconditionsforthesuccessofthecapitalistorderistoencourageentrepreneurialspiritentrepreneurs,andtheinductionofthisspiritwillneedStimulusandcompensation,"NewDeal"somemeasuresistosuppressthisspirit.TheothergroupwasKeynesandhisfollowers,orhalf-followers,whoarguedthatRooseveltwasnotdoingenoughtomakethenationaleconomyonthepathofrejuvenationonlyifitreallyimplementedabolddeficit-raisingpolicy.
FromRoosevelt's"NewDeal"astheprogramforthepresidency,tothe"NewDeal"throughouttheimplementationprocess,theUnitedStateshasitstwoextremesofevaluation:aRoosevelt"NewDeal"abandonedtheAmericantradition,themostvaluableliberalismEconomicmodel,asocialistcountrylikea"plannedeconomy",manyconservatives(suchasformerPresidentHoover)fearRooseveltwillbanks,railwaysandotherimportantnationaleconomicsectornationalization,andultimatelytheUnitedStatesontopoliticsTheotherismoreradicalpointofviewthatRoosevelt'sreformisnotthoroughenoughradicalpeopleinitiallyRoosevelthavegreatexpectations,theyhopethatthroughthe"NewDeal",RooseveltcannotonlysolvethecurrentcrisisintheUnitedStates,Butalsotosolvesuchasclass,poverty,raceandotherdeep-seatedproblemsofAmericansociety.
ItcanbeseenthattheevaluationofRoosevelt'sNewDealintheUnitedStatesfocusedonthesuccessofitsinterventionintheUSeconomy,first,whetheritwasconducivetothepoliticaldemocratizationoftheUnitedStates.
