Whenyoustepintotheplankroad,youmustpayattentiontosafety.Nowyoucanseeagroupofcarvedstatueschiseledbythecliff.ThereisaBuddhainthemiddle,whichis15metershigh.TherearetwoBodhisattvasstandinginfrontofthem,smilingandwelcomingthetourists.ThisisalsothelargestBuddhastatueinMaijiMountain.NowwhatyoucanseeisthemostmagnificentsevenBuddhaPavilioninCave4.Thereare42statuesofBodhisattvasinthesevenniches,whicharesolemnandamiable,gorgeousandnotvulgar.
NowyoucometoXiyagrottoes,thelargestofwhicharecaves133and127.No.133stelecaveisthemostspecialcaveinMaijiMountain.Inthecave,therearenotonlymanyclaysculptures,butalso18stonetablets,someofwhicharecoveredwiththousandsofBuddhastatues,sotheyarealsocalled"tenthousandBuddhaHall".Amongthem,No.10,No.11andNo.16aretheessenceofnumeroustablets.Cave127isevenmorewonderful.Thisstatue,nottomentionMaijiMountain,isararetreasureintheworldBuddhistart.
