MS.xxrequestedaletterofreferencefrommetosupportherapplicationforgraduatestudiesatyouruniversity.AsherresearchadviserwhenshewasagraduatestudentinmyschoolofscienceBeijingUniversityofChemicalTechnology,Iampleasedtocomplywithherrequest.
IhaveknownMs.Zhangsince20xx,whenshewasadmittedasaMasterofSciencecandidateintotheschool.Asherresearchadviser,Idirectedherresearchandfoundherapromisingyouthradiatingwithintelligenceandcreativity.Duringherfirstyear,shegotaverygoodrecordinmajorcoursesandearnedgoodscoresmajorandgeneralGPA3.3.SheparticularlyenjoyedchallengingareasofstudiessuchasQuantumChemistryandTheoryofElectrochemistry.
Duringthefollowingtwoyears,Ms.Zhangworkedonacomputationaltheorystudyofinorganicfunctionalmaterialsprojectforhisdegreethesis“TheoreticalStudyofElectronicStructuresofSeveralRepresentativeMetalElementintheHydrotalciteSlabs”.Tomakethetheorymodelmeettheactualmaterials,shefaceddownmanypracticalproblems,suchasbuildingreasonablemoduleofinorganicmaterials,andcalculationtechniques.Workinghardandindependently,shecrackedtheproblemsonebyone,andcameupwithathesisthatwascharacterizedbyacademicexcellence.DuringherM.S.period,shehadthreepaperspublishedininternationaljournals.
Judgingbyheroutstandingperformancewhileshestudiedwithme,IamconvincedthatMs.Zhanghasacquiredtheknowledgeandintellectualsophisticationonthebasisofwhichshecanundertakeworld-classtraining.Ithereforelendhermyenthusiasticsupportandwouldappreciateyourfavorableconsiderationofherapplication.
