Rongyuanwasbuiltin1961tocommemoratethecompletionofZhuhaileveeonDonghaiisland.Thisgroupsculpture"unityisstrength"trulyreflectstheintenselaborsceneofZhanjiangpeopleduringtheGreatLeapForwardperiod.Huguangyanhasbeautifulsceneryandmanyfamouspeople'sfootprints.Forexample,thesethreebigirontreeswerepresentedbyVietnamesePresidentHoChiMinhbefore1962.
ThebridgeunderourfeetiscalledJiuqubridge.AccordingtoBuddhism,thereareonlytwostatesinlife:QuandZhi.Therefore,aftercrossingtheJiuqubridge,lifewillbesmooth.

LengyantemplewasfirstbuiltintheSuiDynastywithahistoryofmorethan1480years.TheseventhyearofJingkanginNorthernSongDynasty(1120)___BuddhistmonkShizongbuiltgrasshereasannunnery,worshipingthethreetreasuresBuddhaoftheTathagata,knownas"baiyunxiangnunnery".IntheQingDynasty,thetemplewasrenamed"LengyanTemple".Theword"Lengyan"isderivedfromtheBuddhistSutraofLengyan,whichshowsthestrongmeaningofBuddhism.
