Itissaidthatsincethen,anevildragonhasbeenswimminginthesea,oftenmakingwaves,andthefishermen'slifeisnotpeaceful.
Whenthetsunamicame,familiesweredestroyedanddevastated.
Later,MaYuan,theFuboGeneraloftheEasternHanDynasty,passedthroughYangjiang.Knowingthis,hecalledforabigstonefromtheseatosuppressthewaves.
Thisbigstoneisnowthe"ButterflyIsland"infrontofZhapotown.
Fromthenon,theseadidnotraisewaves,andfishermenmovedinoneafteranother,makingitanewfishingport.
InmemoryoftheFuboGeneralMaYuan,peoplebuiltaMaYuanTempleontheseasidemountain.Acoupletwaswrittenattheentranceofthetemple:"chishisilentlyprotectsthestabilityoftheboat,andthegatewavemaintainsthepeaceofHailing."itmeans:GeneralMaYuanmovedthebigstoneheretoprotectthesafetyofthefishingboat;thebigstoneblockedthewaves,andthewindandwaveswerecalmfromthenon,maintainingthepeaceofHailingIsland.
Later,thelocalfishermenweregratefulandnostalgicforGeneralMaYuan'skindnessof"chishizhapo",sotheynamedthenewport"Zhapo".
