InNovember30,1874,ChurchillwasborninOxfordCounty,thetownofWoodstockBritishBlenheimpalace.Whenhewasyoung,hewasverypoor,althoughhisfathersenthimtothebestschool.Aftergraduationheenteredthearmy,frombeingawarcorrespondentgraduallybegantoenterpolitics.October1900,representingtheBritishConservativePartycandidateChurchillsuccessfullyelectedmembers,fromthebeginningof61yearsofpoliticalcareer.TheSundayTimessaid:"Today,WinstonChurchillisnotonlythespiritoftheUnitedKingdom,butalsoourstrongleadership.NotonlytheBritish,thewholeofthefreeworldtohimverytrust."Itisalsoworthnotingthat,Churchillisawell-knownantiCommuniststubborncharacters.ButatthecrucialmomentoftheSecondWorldWar,hewasagreatpoliticianwithgreatcourageandhighflexibility,andcompletedthegreathistoricalturningpointintheBritishpeople'sfundamentalinterests,anddidnothesitatetotieupwiththeSovietUnion,sothattheantifascistforcesunderdifferentideologyformedaunitedfrontunderthespecifichistoricalconditions,thusensuringthefinalvictoryofthewar.
In1953,TheSecondWorldWarbookintotheoccasion,ChurchillimmediatelybytheNobelprizeinliterature,inordertohavea"historicalwritingandbiographicalvalue",inonefellswoopwontheworld'shighesthonor.
