SanqingshanislocatedatthejunctionofYushanandDexinginthenortheastofjiubei.Themainpeak,Yujingpeak,is1817metersabovesealevelandislocatedonthetopoftheHuaiyumountains.SanqingmountainisnamedafterthetoweringpeaksofYujing,Yuhuaandyuxu,justlikethethreegodsofYuqing(YuanshiTianzun),Shangqing(LingbaoDaojun)andTaiqing(TaishangLaojun)worshippedbyTaoism,andtheancientSanqingpalace.
Sanqingmountainislocatedinthesubtropicalclimatezone,butithasthecharacteristicsofalpineclimate.Theannualaveragetemperatureisbetween10-12℃,theaveragetemperatureinJulyis21.8℃,andtheaverageannualprecipitationisabout2000mm.
ThesceneryoftheFourthCommitteeofSanqingmountainisbeautiful,withazaleasinfullswinginspringandflowersinfullbloom;attheturnofspringandsummer,withflowingspringsandclouds;inmidsummer,withthickshade,itiscoolandpleasant;aroundmidautumn,withthousandsofpeakscompetingandlayersofforestsflying;inthecoldofMarch,withiceflowersandjadebranches,itislikeaglassfairyland.
Sanqingmountainscenicspotisrichintourismresources,withlargescale,completetypesandmanyscenicspots.Theareaofthescenicspotismorethan220squarekilometers,andthecentralscenicspotis71squarekilometers.Itisdividedintosevenscenicspots:Sanqingpalace,tiyunling,sandongkou,Yulingguan,xihuatai,shigulingandYujingfeng.ShandongProvinceinthethreeQingDynastyisuniqueinthewest,Northandsouth.Ithasthecharacteristicsof"thegrandeurofMountTai,theprecipitousnessofHuashan,thesmokeandcloudsofHengshan,andthewaterfallofkuanglu".IthasthecharacteristicsofQifengandYishi,YunwuandFoguang,Cangsongandancienttrees,canyonsandcaves,Xiquanwaterfall,ancientbuildings,stonecarvingsandstonecarvings,whicharewonderfulandlifelike.
